The Home Energy Assistance Program helps eligible households with their annual energy costs. There is also an emergency benefit for eligible households needing emergency furnace tune-ups, repairs or and replacement.
Our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program offers free tax preparation and filing services by trained volunteers for people with an annual income of $56,000 or less, persons with disabilities & limited-English speaking tax payers who need assistance.

The Early Childhood Literacy & Learning Network provides information and resources to families and family serving organizations to help give children a strong early childhood learning foundation rooted in rich literacy
experiences.
Our Family Literacy Program supports and guides adult and child learners as they work toward meeting their educational and vocational goals. Early childhood home visits, after school and summer programs are available for eligible children. The program also offers English as a New Language (ENL) classes for adults in the community.
COI Head Start offers high-quality early childhood development activities and support to eligible 3 and 4-year-old children and their families throughout Columbia County with centers in Chatham, Craryville, Hudson, Philmont and Valatie.
