Our Mission
Upstate Cakes for Kids is dedicated to baking cakes for children in need. Our goal is to ensure every child in the capital region receives a birthday cake on their special day no matter the circumstances.
Our volunteers bake, decorated, and deliver birthday cakes to children in need in the capital region.
What We Do
Get Involved
Upstate Cakes for Kids is looking for volunteers to bake, decorate, and deliver cakes to children in need on their birthday. From amateur to pro we are happy to accept anyone who has a passion to help others and enjoys decorating birthday cakes.
Volunteering- How it Works
A non profit organization such as a food pantry, homeless shelter, hospital, foster home, etc. will fill out an application cake order for the child in need of a birthday cake. Once completed the cake order will be sent to Upstate Cakes for Kids. The Volunteer decorators will be notified of the order and the first volunteer to accept will be designated to bake, decorate, and deliver the cake for the child in need.
