Lend a helping hand and work on the land!
Weed love it very mulch if you came to help weed and mulch the raspberry beds at one of our Schenectady Urban Farms located right off Fehr Ave from 1pm to 3pm! If you would like to help but cannot make these times, we are also looking for another group to help at the Vale Cemetery Farm from 10am-12pm (please see separate listing here: https://www.unitedtovolunteer.org/need/detail/?need_id=673844).
WHAT YOU NEED: You will be getting down and dirty, so please wear appropriate clothes for working in a garden. We suggest bringing gloves and tools for weeding if you have them, but we will also have a supply of these items should you need them.
FINDING THE FARM: Even though it is called Fehr Ave farm, you will meet Farmer Leah at Central Park Road at 1pm and we will have signage to guide you. You may park right along Central Park Rd with no issues. SEE IT ON GOOGLE MAPS: https://goo.gl/maps/2NTiRMryVPsbnBme8
