In recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, Albany Med, UAlbany and the community-at-large are collaborating to support those affected by sexual violence. We Care features the assembly of “comfort bags” for the Division of Forensic Medicine at Albany Medical Center. It is our mission to ensure that all sexual assault survivors leave Albany Med with dignity and the knowledge that they are supported by a community that cares.
We need your help setting up for the WE Care Event.
12pm-2pm: Loading and unloading donations from the delivery truck and transporting items to the event location. Lifting of heavy items required.
1pm-3pm: Continue unloading. Begun setting up tables, storage containers, and chairs.
2pm-4pm: Organizing and setting up donation items on tables. Setting up instructions signs and cards.
