On Sunday, October 26, UAlbany will host it's annual Dunk-or-Treat event on the Downtown Campus. The event brings students and campus organizations together with members of the local community for a frightfully good time.
More specifically, student organizations are invited to table and hand out candy to area youth who are encouraged to dress in costume. UAlbany students are also encouraged to come in age-appropriate costumes (suitable for elementary school-aged children). In addition to the trick-or-treating element, the Dunk-or-Treat features inflatables, music, games, face painting, food and more...
The event will run from 1-4pm and volunteers are needed to assist with set-up (10am-1pm), breakdown (3:30-6pm), and management of the event while it is actively occurring (12:30-4pm). Student groups are also eligible to get service credit for volunteering to staff a table at the event and hand out candy to kids in attendance.
