Weigh the Waste @ Indian Quad Dining Hall

Weigh the Waste is an annual program hosted by UAS/UAlbany Dining and the Office of Sustainability to raise awareness around #WorldHungerDay, food waste and food insecurity. When they are finished eating, students empty their leftover food waste into bins, which are then weighed at the end of the day. Volunteers are needed to stand guard in front of the conveyor belt and to educate students.
