Volunteers are needed on Thursday, March 18, from
1:00pm - 7:00pm (any amount of time you can give helps) to move walk and carry boxes, bins, folding tables, folding chairs and other items from the South End Children’s Café location on 25 Warren Street in Albany (12202) to a new, temporary location at 3 Lincoln Square. (It's literally across the street, up a little hill).
The new location will enable us to have more kids back after school so your help will help the children.
Items will range in weight but May weigh up to 30 pounds. The walk with the bins and items is up a small hill, and will take about 4 minutes to walk up the hill from one location to another. We are hoping volunteers can take numerous trips with the items.
Masks are required. Comfortable shoes should be worn.
