Each year Arbor Hill Elementary School hosts its annual Family Field Day event. We are excited to bring this fun-filled day for our students, their families, and community members to enjoy. I am writing to respectfully request assistance from you for Arbor Hill’s annual event.
Date: Friday, September 15, 2023
Time: 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Location: Arbor Hill Elementary Community School, 1 Arbor Drive Albany, NY 12207
Purpose: As a Community School, our purpose is to build relations with our surrounding community through collaboration and partnership. Our goals for this event are to expose our families to exciting after-school enrichment programs, educational opportunities, and service support resources within their community, to promote family engagement, growth and community collaborations.
Family Field Day is a growing event and serve as an avenue for Arbor Hill Elementary School to get our students and community youth and families excited about the upcoming academic year.
With the support of our community partners, this event will undoubtedly be an
enjoyable evening for our students, parents, and school community.
Attendance: Approximately 400 to 600 attendees are expected. We have extended a warm invitation to our students, their families, and community members.
Our Request: Volunteers to assist with providing high-quality service and ensuring the success of this event. To accommodate schedules, shifts are being offered from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. (e.g., Setup: 3 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. or clean-up 5 p.m. -6:30 p.m.). We are requesting that volunteers commit to 1.5 hours of service.
