32nd Annual Stair Climb

Set-Up would begin before 7am and would include unloading our vans with supplies and equipment and helping the staff to set up the various stations around the lobby of the Corning Tower. Break Down would include take down of those stations and returning everything to the vans after the event. -Security would involve keeping the traffic of volunteers and participants going in the appropriate directions at appropriate times, and to keep everyone from setting off alarms by going in or out the wrong doors to the Tower! -We try to fuel our participants with healthy and energizing snacks before and after the event. Volunteering for Food and Beverage would involve setting up those tables and handing out snacks and drinks to our participants. -On various different floors, and at the finish line we have cheering sections to encourage our participants to give it their all, and to thank them for all their dedication and hard work! -Volunteering for the Registration Table would involve greeting every participant as they pick up their paperwork and drop off any day-of donations to our staff. -Greeting the participants is very important and ensures that everyone knows where they are going and when they need to be where! -Every participant and volunteer get a t-shirt for their participation. Manning the T-shirt table ensures that everyone gets the shirts they need. -On a few different levels of the tower, we offer water stations for the participants. All of these stations around the Corning Tower need volunteers to make them happen. I look forward to hearing about your interests and how you would like to help us out that morning.
