The City of Albany Department of Recreations will be hosting A safe Drive-Thru / Walk-Thru Candy and Pumpkin Give Away to Capital District Youth. The event will be held on Friday, October 29, 2021 at Washington Park. Listed below are the different volunteer shifts you can sign up for. Please consider volunteering to assist with this event. Shift 1 "Set Up" from 2PM - 3:30PM: Shift 1 will entail helping out with set up for the event. Please meet Volunteer Coordinator Lauren Wiley at Washington Park (35 Willett Street. Albany, NY 12210) to begin your shift.
Shift 2 "Candy and Pumpkin Give Away" from 3:30PM - 5PM: Shift 2 will entail helping the City of Albany Staff hand out candy and pumpkins to youth who stop by. Please meet Volunteer Coordinator Lauren Wiley at Washington Park (35 Willett Street. Albany, NY 12210) to begin your shift.
Shift 3 "Candy and Pumpkin Give Away" from 5PM - 6:30PM: Shift 3 will entail helping the City of Albany Staff hand out candy and pumpkins to youth who stop. Once the event concludes at approximately 6PM, you will assist with breaking down. Please meet Volunteer Coordinator Lauren Wiley at Washington Park (35 Willett Street. Albany, NY 12210) to begin your shift.
