The sisters of Sigma Psi Zeta will be hosting a community service event on September 26 at 7:30PM in Humanities 129. Cranes for a Cure is the awareness campaign for Joey's Wings Foundation, which is a non-profit organization whose mission is to fund research that focuses on kidney cancers affecting children and young adults, raise awareness and provide support to families affected by childhood cancer. Cranes for A Cure’s mission is to fund pediatric cancer research by selling origami crane strings and mobiles, and to provide origami cranes to pediatric cancer patients. We will be making paper cranes to donate them in honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
