Helping Out at The RED Bookshelf

Calendar Happens On Nov 5, 2020
Time 1PM-4PM
Expired

Description

Help us achieve that goal by learning to clean and mend donated children's books that will find a new home when chosen from RED Bookshelves by children in Albany.

This process involves using products like Windex and Goo Gone, colored pencils, markers, various tape and a lot of creativity!

Our location is accessible by CDTA bus (routes 116, 12, and others). You can Google Map to 200 Green St. in Albany. When you reach the front of that building, know there is NO ACCESS to The RED Bookshelf through the front door. Step back, look to the right and find the very tall flagpole at the right of the building. Go to that flagpole and follow the sidewalk that goes to the back of the building. Look around to the left, and you will see our entrance, a green and glass door.

Call or Text Mary Beth Fowler if you have difficulty locating our entrance: 518.210.0449

COVID-19 Precautions: Masks are required to be worn the entire time you are in the space and you will need to fill in a health questionnaire each time you enter (you will be able to do this via a Google Form).
