The RED Bookshelf will be attending the Catholic Charities' drive up food distribution. While vehicles wait their turn, we are able to offer free children's books for the families, neighbors and friends of the drivers. This is fun, people are generally excited to be able to bring books home along with the food. It is physical, including a lot of walking back and forth between the supply of books, and vehicles. It is outdoors, so it is important to be dressed "weather appropriate", whatever the weather is that day. If there is a torrential downpour, we will reach out to cancel if necessary.
