Our mission is to increase capacity for intercultural understanding, build diverse community connections and grow compassionate leaders, through storytelling.

We envision a world where human connectedness is sought and celebrated by lifting up cultural and individual identity and voice, resulting in a deeper understanding and appreciation of ourselves, others, and the world around us.

We believe in: • The healing power of story to create a more vibrant interconnected and peaceful world. • The heart-to-heart process of storytelling and story listening to foster an appreciation for human experience and build community. • Training and practice in the art of storytelling to enable people to strengthen their empathy and find their voice.

To carry out our mission, we support and direct Children at the Well Youth Storytellers for Peace & Understanding.

We seek to inspire and help others to grow the C@W program elsewhere, making use of the book we published, Our Stories Connect: Creating Youth Storytelling Programs to Raise Confident, Compassionate and Capable Leaders.

We support the Interfaith Story Circle in holding local periodic story circles.

We present high-quality concerts of storytelling, music and dance. We facilitate workshops and present at conferences and festivals. We engage community through social media and our web presence
