Who We Are

At Noteworthy Resources of Albany, Inc. (NWR), we are committed to making mental health education, peer support, and training opportunities accessible, inclusive, and community-driven. While we do not operate a dedicated physical space full-time, we strategically partner with local libraries and community organizations across the Capital Region to deliver our programs in accessible, welcoming environments that reduce barriers to participation.

Mission: We are dedicated to supporting people with mental health struggles in cultivating strong peer connections, securing essential therapy and resources, and fostering self-advocacy.

Vision: To create a world where crucial mental health resources and meaningful peer support are accessible to all who need them, without exception.

To make this vision a reality, we actively educate schools, workplaces, and the wider community on how to meet the social and emotional needs of people with mental health conditions.

As mental health advocates, Noteworthy Resources of Albany, Inc. (NWR), a grassroots 501 (c) (3) nonprofit established in 2017, works to ensure that vital mental health resources are accessible to everyone.

We achieve this by delivering inclusive, intergenerational programs and services throughout the Capital Region, including therapy, evaluations, peer support groups, and educational initiatives, ultimately fostering individual growth and empowering the community.
