Who We Are

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region (BBBSCR) is a regionally-operated and locally-funded non-profit organization that has served New York's Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga, and Schenectady counties since 1964. We match children (we call them "Littles") with mentors (we call them "Bigs") to create supportive, long-lasting, and life-changing relationships. We serve youth from age 6 into young adulthood in in one-to-one mentoring relationships in both Community-Based and Site-Based settings.

What We Do

The work of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region (BBBSCR) creates and supports one-to-one mentoring relationships that that ignite the power and promise of youth. Our vision is that all youth achieve their full potential.
