Participants will walk between several of Grassroot Givers’ Little Free Libraries to learn more about our book-sharing programs, as well as the literacy initiatives of the Albany Tulip Queen and Court. The purpose of the event is to promote literacy and all proceeds directly benefit the Grassroot Givers Book Project and Community Store. Grassroot Givers' Book Project helps those in need to establish their own home libraries and provides books to teachers, schools, and literacy programs across the Capital Region. Since its inception, they have provided over 100,000 books to the Capital Region.
Registration begins at 10am.
