We are looking for volunteers for the Legal Hand Call-In Center serving Schenectady and Albany counties. Volunteers work from home and provide free legal information, assistance, and referrals to help their neighbors resolve issues that affect their daily lives in Albany and Schenectady. Eligible volunteers must be at least 18 years of age, be reliable ( for at least one 3-hour shift per week), respectful of all visitors seeking assistance, maintain strict confidentiality and be confident in their ability to use a laptop.
