Join the Community and Public Service Program (CPSP) for a meaningful evening of service and gratitude.
Volunteers will help create Stars for our Troops mementos by carefully cutting stars from American flags that can no longer be flown. These stars are then placed into small keepsake bags along with a printed message of appreciation, creating a meaningful token that veterans can carry with them. Each memento serves as a reminder that their service, sacrifice, and dedication to our country is deeply appreciated and never forgotten.
No experience is needed. All materials will be provided. Volunteers will help cut the stars and assemble the memento bags with the stars and the prepared message cards.
By participating, you will:
- Honor and support veterans in a meaningful and personal way
- Help respectfully repurpose American flags that can no longer be flown
- Assemble keepsake mementos that will be given directly to veterans
- Take part in a reflective and impactful service activity with fellow students
- Earn service hours if applicable
Come spend time giving back and helping create small but powerful symbols of gratitude for those who have served.
