Volunteers will be setting up a classroom in the the Mercy House Shelter for Woman and Children that will act as the base for our new Workforce Development Program. This program will help teach homeless woman the skills they need to re-enter the workforce and maintain long-term employment. Leading to an increase in self-sufficiency and a reduction in the need for homeless services.
Activities include will clean the room top to bottom, possibly paint, set up furniture, decorate, and stock supplies.
