Open House Volunteer Fall 2019

Volunteer Positions Available:

• • Parking Lot
    • 12 positions
    • Job is to guide people as they arrive from the parking lot (State Quad) to the Lecture Centers
    • Time Commitment 8 AM-10 AM
  • Check-in/Welcome Session Attendants:
    • 12 positions
    • Job is to be near the check in and greet the families as they arrive and to keep the lines moving. There will be Admissions employees present to check people in, so it’s the student volunteer’s job to make sure the families know when and where to move
    • Time commitment: 8 AM – 11 AM
  • Podium Attendants
    • 6 positions
    • Help direct people to the Lecture Centers
    • Time Commitment 9:30 AM-11:30 AM
  • LC Attendants/Mingling
    • 20 positions
    • Stands by doors of the Lecture Centers, directs people where they need to go, fill in seats in larger sessions, and makes sure door does not slam loudly after the session has begun. Also should mingle with families and prospective students between and after sessions
    • Time Commitment 10:00 AM-2 PM
