Bean Soup Kits for Shelters & Pantries

Join us for a campus wide community service event.  We'll be making soup kit bags for homeless shelters and food pantries in the Capital Region.  It's easy - take a measuring cup and add 1/4 cup of 8 different kinds of beans to the bag and add two bay leaves on the top.  Tie it off with a ribbon and a recipe.  All participants must wear masks and practice social distancing when entering, while present and when departing.  We'll provide hand sanitizer and gloves.  All measuring cups and other tools will be sanitized between uses.  Our goal is to make 100 bags of soup. We'll give them to Grassroots Givers and they will pass them along to soup kitchens and shelters.
