The reading is divided into 5 sections.
We encourage poets and writers, as well as activists and other citizens, to give voice to texts that celebrate the earth that may have inspired them.
If you would like to read your own work, please select 3rd or 4th reading.
FIRST READING: A Reading for the Land and The City
SECOND READING: A Reading for the River and the Water
THIRD READING: A Reading for the People and the Animals
FOURTH READING: A Reading for the Wind and the Air
3rd and 4th readings. Poets & Writers reading THEIR OWN work, divided by theme
FIFTH READING: A Reading for the Future
(Priority here for Youth Climate Activists)
Since this year's reading is much shorter this year, so we recommend that readers choose one poem 2-5 minutes or a 5-10 minute excerpt from prose. We have left the option of choosing longer readings 10-20 minutes but we will not be able to include all longer readings.
