All of the following are involved in fulfilling this Need:
- Using provided supplies, clean and mend children's books
- Decide which are high enough quality to go onto a RED Bookshelf, label these
- Assist in packing away all supplies and books
We do require volunteers to wear a mask while working in our space. A mask can be provided if needed.
The entrance to our space is in the back of 200 Green St. There is generally ample, unrestricted parking on Green St. in front. If you look to the right of the building you will see a large flagpole. Follow the sidewalk from that flagpole toward the back of the building, look to the left and you will see our entrance: a green and glass door with a RED Bookshelf sign above it.
OR
The Health Science Campus Shuttle stops at the intersection of Rensselaer and Green St. next to our location. This is an easy way to access our space from uptown without needing a vehicle.
