Standing Silent Witness

Albany County Crime Victims and Sexual Violence Center will host a Standing Silent Witness event on the UAlbany campus on 4/5/2022 between 11 am to 1 pm. The event will be a visual demonstration of the silencing of survivors. Participants gather silently for one-hour wearing t-shirts and displaying signs with stories and messages protesting sexual violence and rape culture. The first hour is set up time, students can come and make their own T-shirts/ posters, and the second hour will be the "standing" part.  We will provide all the needed supplies as well as pledges for people to sign. This event will be outside the Small fountain at the Campus Center.
