The Bi-Annual Pine Hills Clean Up (fall edition) will take place on Saturday, October 22 from 11:30AM-3:30PM. The meeting location for the clean-up will be in Ridgefield Park located at 316 Partridge Street in Albany.
A light breakfast will be provided by the Student Association at the beginning of the function. Individuals/groups will then be assigned specific areas within Pine Hills to focus their cleaning efforts on and provided with work gloves and trash bags by the City's Department of General Services. A limited supply of trash pickers will also be available for use.
This event is a collaboration between UAlbany's Student Association, the Pine Hills Neighborhood Association, and the Offices of Off Campus Student Services and Government & Community Relations. The event serves as an opportunity to bring students and neighbors together for a common cause, giving back to the community. Individuals who participate will be awarded community service hours commensurate with the amount of time they spent volunteering in the community.
This event is rain or shine so please be sure to dress for the weather. Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Office of Government & Community Relations at 518-956-8163 or via email at govrelations@albany.edu.
