#KeepAlbanyConnected this #GivingTuesday
Do you notice how fast or slow your internet connection is? Then this is an opportunity for you. The Friends and Foundation of APL need SPEED TESTERS to help with our #KeepAlbanyConnected campaign. Volunteers will work in teams of two or more, and will head out to visit Albany Parks, Albany Housing Authority playgrounds, and Albany Public Library parking lots and courtyards, to test the speed of free APL WiFI.
This is part of our Giving Tuesday campaign, a national day of giving on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. This year it will be on November 29th. Volunteers will post pictures of their speed test results to social media, or email them to the FFAPL office for us to post.
We would love a computer club, Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts club, afterschool program, or civic group to sign up for speed testing.
