Volunteers needed to set up and assist with the President's Awards for Exemplary Public Engagement Ceremony on Tuesday, 4/25/2023.
Various shifts available. Signup for one or all. Event is held in the PAC on the Uptown Campus. Dress is business casual for the event itself. Setup can be more comfortable. Sign up for the shift/s that match your interest:
- Set-up and decorations: 6 volunteers 1-4 p.m. (maybe they’d be done at 3 or 3:30)
- Registration: 5 volunteers from 4:15 – 5:30 p.m. to be stationed at registration table on downstairs level of PAC and outside the PAC to welcome guests
- Door attendants to hand out programs: 2 volunteers from 5:15 – 6:15 p.m. to hand out programs at doors
- Reserved seating attendants before program: 2 volunteers to direct awardees guests and special guests to front row area seating
- Stage attendants during program: 2 volunteers from 5 – 7:30 p.m. to watch if people need help and guide/assist them to stage
- Clean-up helpers: 4 volunteers 7-8:30 p.m.
